TECHNICAL LAMINATES

Technical Laminates can be categorized under two types:
MELAMITE (BAKELITE) – Paper based phenolic laminates [British Standard BS (EN 60893-3-4: 2004)]

ELECTRICAL GRADE P1

The paper based P1 (PFCP 201) has mechanical applications and mechanical properties far better than other
PFCP types. It is low tension electrical insulating material and has high mechanical strength. Its performance under
non-humid condition is excellent.
It is a preferred choice for its electrical properties at normal humidity and has various utilities including usage as
insulation in pressure blocks for transformers, insulation in electric motors, switch gears and panels insulation barrier.
Recommended Thicknesses: range 0.4 mm to 35 mm
